The “Other” Category

In case some of our read­ers are won­der­ing why they are get­ting noti­fi­ca­tions for GIOR posts in the “Oth­er” cat­e­go­ry, this cat­e­go­ry is meant for all things that either don’t fit one of the net­work types or deemed to be of gen­er­al inter­est. Since there is no way of know­ing which of these kinds of items would be of inter­est, we decid­ed to send all “Oth­er” items to all read­ers. We hope this makes sense to you. If it is a prob­lem in some way, please let us know and we can try to fig­ure out a fix.
