March 4, 2022: ISNA is a proud partner with the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology, and we are pleased to announce a new series of online courses, “Religions and Ecology: Restoring the Earth Community.”

Coursera describes itself as an online learning platform that has had 82 million learners and has partnered with over 200 universities to bring online courses and degrees to its users. Yale University is one of the oldest universities in the US and a member of the prestigious Ivy League.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is a Plainfield, Illinois-based umbrella organization that describes its vision as “an exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in North America that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim community and society at large.” ISNA emerged out of the early US Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure, and its current leadership continues to demonstrate its longstanding ties to the USMB. Recent evidence of ISNA influence on US politics includes an ISNA leader participating in a Trump administration security conference and Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders’ and Julian Castro‘s speaking appearances at ISNA’s annual conference.
