Ahmed Jaballah

Born in Tunisia, Ahmed Jabal­lah is a senior leader in the French and the Glob­al Mus­lim Broth­er­hood. Jabal­lah is Pres­i­dent of the Union des Organ­i­sa­tions Islamiques de France (UOIF, renamed to Musul­mans de France in 2018) and was Vice Pres­i­dent of the Fed­er­a­tion of Islam­ic Orga­ni­za­tions in Europe (FIOE). He was also the direc­tor of stud­ies at the Insti­tut Européen des Sci­ences Humaines (IESH) in Château–Chinon and is cur­rent­ly the dean and a pro­fes­sor at the IESH branch in Paris. A long-time mem­ber of the Euro­pean Coun­cil for Fat­wa and Research (ECFR), he was elect­ed to be its vice pres­i­dent in 2018. Jabal­lah is also a mem­ber of the Inter­na­tion­al Union of Mus­lim Schol­ars (IUMS) and the Research Cen­ter for Islam­ic Leg­is­la­tion and Ethics (CILE), as well as the Mus­lim World League (MWL). Ahmed’s wife Noura Jabal­lah was the first pres­i­dent of the Euro­pean Forum for Mus­lim Women (EFOMW) and is the pres­i­dent of the French EFOMW mem­ber orga­ni­za­tion Le Forum Européen des Femmes Musul­manes (FEFM).
