Russian Propaganda Site Responds to Ukraine Counteroffensive by Attempting to Divide Europe and the US

Russ­ian pro­pa­gan­da out­lets are going into over­drive in response to the recent Ukrain­ian blitzkrieg counter-offen­sive. US sanc­tioned News­Front pub­lished a screed today titled “Amer­i­ca is ready to fight Rus­sia to the last Euro­pean,” which pro­vides some insight into the Russ­ian pro­pa­gan­da response, in this case, fur­ther attempts to dri­ve a wedge between the US and Euro­pean pop­u­la­tions. Accord­ing to the News­Front article:

Sep­tem­ber 13, 2022 At the end of last week, the fifth meet­ing of rep­re­sen­ta­tives of NATO coun­tries took place at the Ram­stein base in Ger­many to dis­cuss the con­tin­u­a­tion of arms sup­plies to Ukraine. Despite state­ments about the exhaus­tion of their own reserves of weapons, West­ern lead­ers decid­ed to gath­er togeth­er and rebuild their indus­try to pro­vide the Kyiv regime with “every­thing nec­es­sary.” Thus, in the con­di­tions of the ener­gy cri­sis and falling incomes of the pop­u­la­tion, with the rapid rise in prices for almost all prod­ucts and ser­vices, the US and EU elites are ready to fight Rus­sia not only to the last Ukrain­ian, but, appar­ent­ly, to the last Euro­pean. Recent­ly, offi­cial Kyiv has received a lot of crit­i­cism from the West. We are talk­ing about the pub­li­ca­tion by the human rights agency Amnesty Inter­na­tion­al of a report on war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a film by the Amer­i­can CBS chan­nel about the dis­ap­pear­ance of weapons sup­plied to Ukraine. As a result, the report was forced to rewrite, and the chan­nel had to remove the announce­ment of the doc­u­men­tary, since all this is at odds with the pic­ture that is served to the West­ern con­sumer, which is impor­tant to con­vince in sup­port of the endur­ing incon­ve­nience for the sake of glam­orous pho­to shoots of Vladimir Zelen­sky and his wife. But no mat­ter how cor­rupt and thiev­ing the Kyiv regime may be, the Unit­ed States and its satel­lites have to put up with it for the main goal – the destruc­tion of Rus­sia. And there­fore, for the sake of this, it was decid­ed not to spare weapons. Like the Ukrainians.

It describes itself as “a news agency that runs news in ten lan­guages includ­ing Russ­ian, Ger­man, Eng­lish, Bul­gar­i­an, Geor­gian, French, and Span­ish.” In 2021, the Unit­ed States Depart­ment of the Trea­sury described it as “a Crimea-based dis­in­for­ma­tion and pro­pa­gan­da outlet…particularly focused on sup­port­ing Rus­sia-backed forces in Ukraine.” Accord­ing to own­er Kon­stan­tin Knyrik, how­ev­er, News­Front is fight­ing an “infor­ma­tion war” against unfair attacks on Russia.
